Meet Unsit™ – the premier under desk treadmill
Extra-Wide Design
Library Quiet
Engineered For Deep Work
The InMovement Difference
The Unsit™ Treadmill is wider, quieter, and sturdier than any other walking pad on the market. This is a treadmill built for focus, comfort, and endurance. It has an extra-wide deck to keep your stride natural, a whisper-quiet motor to keep your space calm, and a solid frame to ensure years of daily use.
Built to Last
Built for daily, heavy use, the Unsit™ Treadmill features a commercial-grade steel frame and a motor optimized for walking speeds. With a 400-lb weight capacity and a lifetime frame warranty, it’s engineered to last.
Extra-Wide Design
With a unique short-but-wide footprint, the Unsit™ Treadmill gives you 55% more usable walking surface than the typical under desk treadmill, all while minimizing wasted space.
Library Quiet
We mean it — you'll actually find the Unsit™ Treadmill at libraries across the U.S. That's because at top speed, our treadmill runs at 42.9 dB — equivalent to the quiet hum of a refrigerator (and quieter than your own footsteps).
Smart Tracking & Safety
Embedded sensors stop the treadmill instantly when you step off, and the Unsit™ app syncs with Apple Health, Fitbit, and more to help you track your steps throughout the workday.

Let customers speak for us
from 287 reviewsThis treadmill is something else. Super comfortable. Silent. Worth every penny. There is just no competition to this. I have been walking all day, every day while working.
As part of our ongoing Healthy Work Environment initiative, we recently added the InMovement under-desk treadmill and adjustable desk to our central office—and it’s quickly become a staff favorite!
Associates reserve time in one-hour blocks throughout the day, and the setup (complete with a dedicated computer) allows them to walk while staying fully productive. The treadmill operates smoothly and quietly, making it easy to take meetings, respond to emails, or focus on tasks—all while moving. We’ve noticed a boost in energy levels, improved focus, and more smiles throughout the day. It’s a small change with big wellness benefits!
Beyond the product itself, InMovement’s customer service has been nothing short of exceptional. We encountered a very minor issue during setup, and not only was the response time fast, but the CEO of InMovement personally called and even FaceTimed with us to walk through the solution. That kind of hands-on support is rare and deeply appreciated.
Overall, the InMovement treadmill desk has been a fantastic addition to our office culture—supporting both physical health and mental well-being, one step at a time.
I waffled on purchasing a treadmill for four and a half years. Seriously. March 2020 until August 2024. I just couldn’t justify the price when I could easily go out for a walk at lunch. Problem was, not every day allowed a good lunch walk and I was consistently under 10K steps each day and averaging around 5K. It took a second health scare to get me motivated to purchase one. I did luck out and found a used model, but after the last five months of use, I know it’s worth the regular price. I’m focused all day in meetings or coding, and I can average around 25K steps each day. This thing is a champ through it all. It’s quiet and always ready to keep going. It is also the talk of nearly every meeting with a new person and we chat for five minutes about how great this thing is.
Every one complains about the app. Yeah, it’s not great in its current state, but it works. The new app looks nicer. But, here’s the thing. The app is a bonus and not vital. I just remember to put my phone in my pocket and let Apple Health do the tracking. It works brilliantly. The only connection that I wish would happen is to Garmin and they don’t let most apps write data. Tracking via Apple Health has been perfect. Maybe the new app will be even better.
My LifeSpan Fitness treadmill desk was terminally damaged in a power surge (caused by a tree limb falling on the power line) and when looking for a replacement, LifeSpan’s product availability looked poor. Reddit user “simplefitnessrepair” is a treadmill desk dealer who posts a lot of helpful information and suggested that InMovement has far surpassed LifeSpan Fitness in the treadmill desk market. I bought my Unsit treadmill desk and was impressed first by the pallet delivery drivers who knew what they were doing and helpfully brought the pallet inside my door, then I was impressed by how well packaged the product was, and finally I am impressed by the quality of using it every day. I especially like the teak color option for the desk. The stool is also well made and useful. Happy customer and highly recommended.
I’ve been using the desk treadmill and wobble stool for a few weeks and LOVE both. The extra width on the walking platform is helpful as my balance is a little off while I recover from foot surgeries. Walking very slowly is helping me strengthen my feet and become more active after months of non weight bearing after the foot surgeries, and the simple controller is way to use. I’m looking forward to using the Unsit for many years - it was worth the investment for me. I also bought the wobble stool & love being able to move my body even when I’m sitting.
I ordered the treadmill + desk combo and WOW!!! I cannot say enough good things! I researched treadmill desks for months before pulling the trigger, and I have ZERO buyer's remorse. The packaging upon delivery was phenomenal, the quality of the product (treadmill and desk) is exceptional, sturdy, and sleek (you get what you pay for), the customer service team is responsive and helpful, and the product is a game-changer for my working style, health, and concentration. I love the extra treadmill width provided by Unsit and definitely make use of it frequently. My biggest hesitancy before purchasing was the max speed of 2pmh, especially when purchasing a premium product and noting there are competitor treadmills that go up to 4pmh. BUT, I can now confidently say that if I were walking faster, my productivity would decline. So in the end, I think the 2pmh speed is perfect and even helps the motor last longer. IF I had to make a constructive criticism (nobody's perfect, right??), the app and synchronization with my iPhone and Apple Watch is not intuitive / poor quality / does not really work. However, I think the InMovement team already knows this and is releasing a much-needed app update soon. I also wish the Apple Watch or Fitbit could somehow track treadmill desk workouts, but it's challenging since your arms don't move enough. Also, one picky thing, but it would be nice if the accompanying desk had integrated outlets or a place for a docking station, but you can of course pair the treadmill with any wide-enough standing desk you like. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've made, and I am so excited for many, many steps and miles ahead. Thank you to the InMovement team for an awesome product! I've been spreading the word to everyone I know ;)
I almost purchased a cheaper walking pad/treadmill, but I was discouraged by the narrow treads on them. Because of this, I reluctantly purchased the Unsit Under Desk Treadmill. I was reluctant because of the high price. I am so glad I did. I wanted something that was well made with a large walking surface area. This accomplishes that in every way. I have walked and worked about 3-4 miles per day for the past 3 weeks. I am getting use to the walking/typing. It's not bad once you do it for about 1 week. As an attorney I type a lot. This was a concern of mine, but it's doable.
Get this treadmill. Take care of your health. It's well made, stable and large. I highly recommend and am considering getting one for my home office too.
This wide design and build quality that’s made for all day use is 100% mandatory
All other treadmills on Amazon will burn out on you within the first month and I learned me lesson.
This app is so cool that it adds steps to my iPhone health app and I’ve lost a few pounds already and can drink and eat more
I work from home and get to walk 7 hours and maybe sit for 1 ranging from 2mph to 1.5 1.2 1 and 0.8 mph
Your body will adjust but make sure to get the energy stool also and do plenty of breaks to stretch your foot claves and legs
I use a massage fun for my hip flexors and have been able to average 25k steps a day since I got this up from 3k
Having spent too much time of late in front of a screen, and too little time in movement; and reading with concern recent studies of the harm of too much sitting, I opted to try the under desk treadmill. With some trepidation I set it up and stepped aboard. Would it be distracting? Could I actually type while walking? The answer is “yes”, and it is wonderful. I love it, and recommend it freely. It is well built, functional, and even self-encouraging.
I work at a desk all day. Even with a sit stand desk historically I have tended to sit for most of the day. With the desk treadmill I’m now standing and walking for most of the day. This is a tremendous improvement, and I feel the positive effects like better focus and no soreness from prolonged sitting. I’m happy with the purchase!
quiet, sturdy, and can run as long as you want. I've started to walk about 30 - 60 minutes a day, and stand a lot more. My overall health is improving substantially.
Nice treadmill, great customer service, you can be confident in your purchase from InMovement
This is a total life upgrade. The treadmill is quiet and easy to use.
I love my Unsit treadmill! It’s expensive but I feel it’s been worth it as an investment in my health.
I had been sitting for 9+ hours a day at work, followed by sitting on the sofa to relax - an hour of exercise a day just didn’t feel enough to combat being so sedentary. Plus with back and neck issues I was often in pain and found it hard to keep a good posture during the day.
I bought my Unsit about 8 months ago in March 2023 and have walked over 1.25 million steps so far (over 400 miles)! My weight is about the same but I’ve lost some fat, my legs are more toned, and I feel better health wise. I think it’s helped with my back/neck pain too! I use an exercise ball to sit on when I want to take a break from walking/standing.
I find it easy to work while walking (2mph feels more natural to me than going slower). The wide belt is great when I’m using two screens.
The app could be better - I’m looking forward to the upcoming upgrade.
The support staff are wonderful and reply quickly to any queries I’ve had. I thoroughly recommend the Unsit treadmill!

"One of the best investments of my life."
I am a software engineer who spent the pandemic slowly hurting my back sitting in front of my computer for 8-10 hours per day, until ... I got a sciatica problem. I couldn't stand the pain, so I decided to invest in this treadmill desk bundle ... Today, I walk 35,000+ steps per day, have lost 10+ lbs, and have ZERO back pain. Moreover, I sleep better, and I am more productive at work.

Frequently asked questions
How is the Unsit™ different from other under-desk treadmills?
Most under-desk treadmills are small, narrow and flimsy — built for short workouts, not full workdays. The Unsit™ Treadmill is engineered for daily, all-day use, with a wider footprint, 400-lb weight capacity, and a lifetime frame warranty. It’s also exceptionally quiet — just 42.9 dB, quieter than a library — so you can focus fully while you walk, talk, and work.
Is the Unsit™ quiet enough for office use?
Yes. In fact, you can find the Unsit™ Treadmill at libraries across the U.S. (No joke!). That's because at top speed, our treadmill runs at only 42.9 decibels, about the same as a refrigerator. The motor is optimized specifically for walking speeds, delivering smooth, consistent motion without the hum or vibration you’d expect from traditional treadmills. It’s ideal for shared workspaces, calls, or video meetings where silence matters.
Will I have to replace my Unsit™ in a few years?
Absolutely not! Every part of the Unsit™ is designed for longevity — from its industrial-grade steel construction to its oversized walking deck and reinforced frame. Unlike lightweight home treadmills, it’s made to handle continuous use and higher weight loads day after day. That’s why it comes backed by a lifetime frame warranty and a reputation for durability that outlasts the competition.
I already have a standing desk. Will the Unsit™ Treadmill fit?
The Unsit™ Treadmill is designed to fit under the most common standing desks. The Unsit™ is 39" wide, so make sure you have at least 40" of space between the two upright legs of your desk – and that there are no crossbars lower than one foot off the floor.
How long can I use the Unsit™ Treadmill each day?
The Unsit™ Treadmill is designed for commercial use, and can safely be used all day without concerns of over-heating or damage. This treadmill is a work horse, so don't be afraid to put it to work.
Will the Unsit™ Treadmill be too short for me?
Definitely not. (Uunless you're taller than 6'9")
We've tested our treadmill with users as tall as 6'9" without any issues with the length - and after thousands of treadmills sold, we still have yet to receive a report of the treadmill being too short.
Remember, this treadmill is specifically engineered for walking at slower speeds that allow you to effectively work while you walk - which means your stride is going to be much shorter than usual. Even at the max speed of 2 MPH, your stride length is going to be considerably shorter than what you would typically use on a fitness treadmill.
In the rare case that you do find yourself near the front or rear edge of the treadmill, we recommend moving the treadmill around a bit to find a comfortable walking position that keeps you in the center of the walking pad. Everyone's body is different, so it's not uncommon for the treadmill to need some minor position adjustments.
